Kirsten Westerlund: Project Coordinator
A Little Back Story
Kirsten grew up in Northwest Indiana and attended Indiana University as an undergraduate student and Marquette University as a graduate student. During her years in higher education, she found her passion for event operations and logistics. She has spent the last thirteen years of her career in events and operations having experience in multiple areas, including higher education, nonprofit and wedding industries. She thrives working behind the scenes and has been a part of the eGuide team for over a year supporting both the operations and digital teams.
Kirsten lives in Chicago with her husband, and they are extremely excited to be expecting their first child in Spring 2023. In her spare time, Kirsten loves to bake and explore the restaurant scene in Chicago. She has even created a color-coded spreadsheet of her go-to Chicago restaurants. Her philosophy is that a meal is not complete unless it ends with Chocolate.

Q: What’s something many don’t know about you? A: My goal is to go to all 50 states and I have been to 38 out of the 50.
