Digging into V2MOM with Emily Washcovick
This month we are focusing on goal planning and holding yourself accountable to those goals using the V2MOM method and Trello! Putting these practices into action, eGuide talked with Emily Washcovick, one of our long time business coaching clients (and friends), to demonstrate how these tools can be beneficial for goal planning in your business and in life!
By day, Emily is a Senior Field Marketing Manager and Small Business Expert at Yelp as well as hosts the Yelp podcast “Behind the Review” which features a conversation with a business owner and a customer who has written them a Yelp review. Emily is also the founder of the mental health blog, Bipolar Brought Balance, where she shares her own experiences with bipolar disorder.
One key point that Emily and Greg discuss is the measurement and accountability factor goals need to have in order to be successful.
“In reality when we set a goal like that, it’s something that throughout the year I always feel like I’m thinking of it as something I’m behind on because I don’t have a plan for how I’m going to accomplish it, I just want it to happen…without a plan for how I’m going to get there, it’s really hard to measure but also hold myself accountable to achieve these goals.”
